Candle Care and Safety Tips

To get the best performance and longest life from your Full Moon Mystics candles, please follow these care and safety guidelines:

Burning Tips

• Burn your candle for at least 1 hour, or until the melt pool reaches the edges of the vessel. This prevents tunneling and ensures an even, clean burn.

• Always trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each burn to reduce soot and promote a steady flame.

• Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.

• Stop using your candle once 1/2 inch of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel to prevent overheating.

Crystal & Herb Safety

• Candles adorned with crystals or botanicals are safe to burn when used properly.

• As the wax melts, crystals may shift—this is normal.
  If a crystal moves too close to the wick, gently reposition it away from the flame using a non-metal tool once the wax is cool enough.

• Remove any large crystals before the final burn if needed.

General Safety

• Never leave a burning candle unattended.

• Keep candles away from flammable materials, drafts, pets, and children.

• Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface.

• Do not touch or move a burning candle.

• Keep the wax pool free of debris such as wick trimmings or matches.

Aftercare

• Once your candle is fully burned, your crystals can be cleaned and kept as keepsakes.

• Reuse or recycle your candle container whenever possible​
